Default Adjusting idle

96 civic EX Auto

I looked up these instructions. It gives you specs for Park or N, my question is when it is Drive what are the specs, My idle drops in "Drive"

Also when you turn the screw which way increases the idle speed? counterclockwise or clockwise.

Finally it say turn 112 turn, what is a 112 turn? Was that a typo and is a 1/2 turn?

to set the base idle you want to follow those instructions. im pretty sure they mean 1/2 turn. i think CCW on the screw would increase idle but i can't remember. it will be obvious when you turn the screw.

if your idle is low while in drive, there may be other problems. did you check your ignition timing? does the car need a tune up?

Just did a basic tune up, doesn't drop that much in Drive it reads like 655-670ish, so not super low.

In Park I am reading 750ish it is higher no load.

The reason for this post is in Drive it is def lower, so I am curious should I raise it a bit? It does shake in Drive.

U.S. or Canada model? If U.S., your base idle is set too high in Park. Follow the directions in the diagram.

US model. I checked again it is like 700 in Park, but the idle drops to like 625 maybe 650 in Drive and shakes a bit, is that too low for Drive?

Went to adjust it from the descrip above, turned counterclockwise to brig up the idle, a few turns didn't seem to do much, a mechanic friend said counter to bring up rpm's?
