Adjusting clutch pressure soft vs hard
Just bought a 97 vtec del sol and the clutch is super hard, requires strength to use it where as my 97 si is quite soft, owner said he thinks it had a clutch replacement
I have a muscle disorder so pressing the clutch fatigues me pretty quick and i wanted to change it, the owner said it could be done since its a hydraulic clutch but im not locating any information no how this can be done

Re: Adjusting clutch pressure soft vs hard
A racing clutch would have a stiffer main spring in the clutch cover. That means more force is needed to press the clutch pedal. You would need to remove the transmission and replace the clutch set with stock parts to change that.

Re: Adjusting clutch pressure soft vs hard
He could conceivably replace the clutch master cylinder with one with a smaller/longer piston and that would reduce the pedal effort, correct?
