i have a honda civic 95 auto, the gearbox is ok but it changes from 3 to 4 at about 40 miles. i had another Honda civic 1.5 but that changed from 3 to 4 between 30 and 35 miles. can this be adjusted so it changes from 3 to4 between 30 and 35 if so i will be most grateful if you could give a step by step instruction. thanks

I don't think there is an adjustment you can do at all, and if so, it would be in the auto ECU.

try changing the trans fluid

there is a cable that goes from your tb to your tranny you can adjust that but if you dont do it right it will either slap gears or slip thru them do some research before you decide to tackle this

civic1988,ricksauto, and boldfart16, thank you very much,i will change the fluid later on but i think civicx1988 is correct it can be adjusted using the cable. i have looked at the haynes manual but it does not say at what speed it is suppose to change from 3 to 4. i wait will do mre research and possibly someone else may come up with the answer. thanks
