turbotime

I have a cx fpr on an ex head, i have a spare adjustable fpr laying around, dont have any way of accurately adjusting it so i would have to just throw it on and adjust it till it "sounds" right i guess. Would the adjustable fpr be better than the cx fpr on the ex head? Cuase its not runnin to well right now and im not sure if its the fpr or what.
