Default Adequate operating water temp

So I have a bone stock D15 and lately I've been reaching 91 degrees celcius. Usually it stays around 89. Is this still an exceptable temp to reach? Or should I start to worry?

I want to say 89, but I honestly do not remember. Whatever autozone gives out.

I had a d15 as well and stock thermo was a 180 degree. Your talking celsius so stock should be 82/83. 89/91 sounds a bit high for the car. Bad thermo/wrong thermo maybe?

See, if I floor it and hit ~7000 RPMs it drops to 79 degrees.

I'd say replace the thermo if its a big issue to you. $15-20 and an easy fix if you know what your doing.

Well in that case, do you have enough coolant in your radiator and resevoir tank?

Yes, and there are no air bubbles. Also has a newer HG, radiator, rad cap and hoses.

Sounds good to me then. Is the timing on the car correct? If so then this brings me back to the thermostat. Try a 180 degree thermostat.
