Consider it done, as soon as it stops raining here in Philly. Off to Honda, the best place on earth.

Sorry to bring this back up again but has anyone done this to a 92-95 hatch yet? If so, what color wires did you have to splice into? Thanks

Re: (tommyj)
Just thought I'd reply to this thread from the past. I just installed a 93 Integra courtesy light in my 99 hatch and I found the 12v constant at a grey molex connector behind the plastic directly under the driver rear quarter glass. There is a white w/ red stripe wire that comes into the connector from the floor harness that has no terminating pin on the rear hatch harness. That is your 12v constant. There is a blue w/ black stripe wire that comes out of the same connector on the hatch harness side, that is your switchable ground. Tap those two wires and the courtesy light should work like stock.

I wanted a trunk light in my 95 DX Coupe and didn't know what to do. So I went to Walmart and bought a cheap fog light kit and wired that up...SUPER BRIGHT!!!
If anyone would like, I can post pics...I think its pretty cool!

Re: (GBRacing)
So noone has done this on a an EG hatch? I just checked how the latch system works with a multimeter. All 3 latches have to be closed for the dash light to turn off, but the weird thing is that when the latches are in the closed position they produce a 12 volt charge. So how could you make this work, its backwards.
