Default Acura EL Conversion

alright - i know this doesnt net you any gains, but has anyone done an Acura EL front end Conversion on a 96+ 4dr civic? the EL is a canadian model Acura that has the same body lines as the 4dr Civic, except its leathered out and has a differnet front end - it looks similar to the accord.....anyways i was just wondering if anyone has done it and what cost for parts.

here's a pic of an EL incase someone's intersted

I've seen one before in real life. The trunk is different too, not just the front.

i wasnt sure if it would fit coupes - im not too familiar w/ 6th gen, but the 5th gen 4dr front end is different than the 2/3dr........

yeah..the one i found was *i'm pretty sure* a complete OEM bolt on using the 4door parts. as far as i know, and have always thought, there is nothing different with the 6th gen 4dr fronts vs. 2dr/3dr....i'm gonna try to find that place that has them.

i think he means the front seats are teg seats, which is what i understood from the (very few) pics ive seen - they could just be using those headrests

front n rear end are different

I've seen one of these around here. I wasn't quite sure what the model was, but I new it wasn't USDM.

A guy i know used to have the "Domani EL" conversion on his 6th gen DX coupe; it looked pretty good (but someone hit him so he took it off)...

I think ViS Racing sells that front end kit... pretty expensive though.

I guess it's nice for show..
