Default Accord V6 swaped into a 95 civic ex?

Just wondering would a accord's V6 motor and tranny and well most of the front parts fit into the front end of a civic? It would mean a $hit load of fabricating all the various parts, and getting the drive parts to line up could be interesting, but still I figure if a H22 can fit why not a V6....

Your thoughts please...

And I happen to have a large bonus from joining the army lying around just taking up space to pay for the swap, so as of right now money isn't a concern....

hope u didn't join for more than 3 years. i've been in for almost three years and myself, and everyone i work with regrets it. my sign on bonus was $11,000 and the army has only given me 5k so far. i'm in the 82nd airbone infantry div.

this is what i bought after a year in iraq

i'd go with this over a v6 any day

Pretty sad. I met a few people that joined for college money, or the bonus, and then expected some Disneyland job. It's the Army, did you not know what it was?

But anyway, yes it's been done, and 215hp, at 220lbs-ft might be a waste, if the swap cost more than getting an easier swap to that level.

those wheels are nice.

just needs to be turboed and id drive it

yeah that v6 platform isn't very fast to begin with, and would weigh to much in the front, now if u swaped in the new TL-S then that would be a sweet ride.

Wow. Would that throw your Front/Rear bias out! And cook you alive with the proximity of the rear exhaust manifold to the firewall.

It can be done with enough fab work yes, but I just don't see it being pleasant to drive...or fun.

I don't remember who, but I remember seeing a picture in the Accord forum like a year or more ago of a white CRX with a turbo charged Accord V6 motor. It was extremely tight and I'm sure he had to do some cutting but it was in there.

of course its not worth it,

if you're gonna do it, it'd be for the novelty of it,
that ****'d be SO rare,
I mean, we've been doing the honda thing for how long now?? you'd think this would be a no brainer,
theres a fwd v6 built by honda.. and no one ever puts it in their civic?
that pic up there is the first pic i've seen done.

personally i'd like to see it done more often,
it'd be cool.

if you really have that much money sitting around, it would be more cost effective to buy a k series and put it in there.

That looks ALOT like the c27a from the 1st gen acura legend. They are not the most powerful thing in the world.
