Re: Accord suspension on a eg coupe? Can it be done?
why?
they are a similar design in front but i think accord struts are longer. rear struts are bolt through eye, rather than civic's fork style. but of course this could vary with the year of whatever accord or civic and since you conveniently left that out...

Hmmm, I have both an EG chassis Civic and a CD Chassis Accord, never really thought about this, from what I would suspect, they probably wouldn't work out too well. Only because I know for a fact that 94-01 Integra suspension are interchangeable with the 92-95 Civic chassis and 96-00 can be made to fit with slight modification to the rear LCAs. After working on my Accord, I do know that the Accords suspension are interchangeable with that of Preludes, though the years will vary however. Because of the difference in length and radius arms, I don't think that the Accords suspension will work with the Civics chassis.

Wont work. Honda already was nice enough to provide a bolt on upgraded suspension in the form of the Integra anyway so why try to reinvent the wheel?
