Accessing inner firewall?

Accessing inner firewall?
i was wondering u are able to access the inner firewall by taking off thew cowl piece? kind of snap the stud n trying to fix it without resorting to welding a new one there the inside yet

you can only access the top couple of inches from under the cowl.
you can see in this diagram the firewall is a separate piece.
