Acceleration Hesitation 1996 Civic Cx
MY 1996 Honda Civic CX hesitates on acceleration when engine is cold. This usually happens in morning for the first 2-4 seconds when accelerating out of my driveway in first gear. After that it works great. Does anyone have any solutions? Thanks. For all the fans who think I should wait a few seconds....well..... I also have a 1989 Honda Civic CX which doesn't have that problem.

mine will do that when it is cold and have the A/C on. Try turning the A/C off if you have it on when the engine is cold. Though mine will hesitate anyway if the car is warmed up, but when I turn the A/C off it works fine.
