ACCEL Thundersport wires
grabbed a set of new NGK plugs today as part of my tune-up and they had one blue set left of the ACCEL Thundersport 300+ wires in stock. since i'm rocking the original 1995 OE wires i figured for the price it wouldn't hurt to upgrade them and my impulse shopping habit took over and i found myself at the til paying for them. i got home and did a search just to see and i couldn't find anything, good or bad, on them.
I looked at the NGK online as well. the only place open today was Canadian Tire and the parts guy told me they don't carry the NGK wires so i had no way to check a set out to compare.
Just wondering if the ACCELs will be fine or are they better left back on the shelf? they look good quality-wise and my key is only turning over a D15B7 with AEM CAI, NGK plugs, DC header and Skunk2 cat-back exhaust. I haven't put them on yet in case i didn't like them or i found out they are a bad idea. yes, im bad for impulse buys now and then
I value the opinions of H-T and I thought id ask you guys for your opinions first so
any feedback would be great. i only live like a 10 minute walk from the store so returning them is not a problem
thanks H-T

Re: ACCEL Thundersport wires (519RACING)
I've run two sets of them so far and they are fine. I don't think I'd chalk up my average dyno #'s to my plug wires.
It could never hurt to run NGK's, though. That's good stuff.

i noticed that this morning too. I installed them last night and althought it seems to have better oompf mid to high, the low end seems to be sluggish a bit.
i'm going to get the MGK's and sell the ACCELs since they'll only be like a week old
thanks for the info guys
