Default AC problems in a 95 Civic

The ac has an intermittent problem some days it works fine others not, a mechanic said I have an electrical problem. The strange thing is when I hold my finger on the recirculation button it works, when I remove it, it starts to get warm.

i might start with that switch and the wiring to/from it.

part number, no, not off the top of my head. its on the hvac control panel, and its probably called the inside air recirculation switch (or something close to that).

you might be able to find the part number via the website http://www.myhondapartsstore.com

My brother had a similar problem, except it was with the A/C switch. He'd hold it down and it would work, but it would get warm when he'd let it go.

We swapped out the whole climate control with another one and now his A/C works fine.
