ac compressor does it need all freon lbs..
I just replaced my a/c compressor on my 98 Honda civic. The guy that put the freon just put 12lbs I didnt have money to buy the other can. Now that i have the other can of freon. I was just wondering if a/c should be (cooling )working properly with those 12lbs? Will it cool even more if I put 19lbs what is should take? Thanks

Freon = R12
Your A/C system takes only about 1.4 lbs of R134a. Or are you saying that only 12 oz of R134a was added?

U guys r right my mistake 12oz ...on my inside of the engine capartment it states that it takes 19oz I only have 12oz should it be cooling the same or a lil off?
