Re: Ac with a b series
It sounds like the former from my interpretation, but I could be wrong... We're both right though, if he's using D, you're right, if he's using B, I'm right.

Re: Ac with a b series
i've recently done this. here's the rundown
-if you want to use your stock a/c lines and stock a/c compressor, just get a 97-01 CRV a/c bracket ('P7J' if i remember correctly) or B-series vtec del sol and it will hook up the d-series a/c compressor and it will bolt on the b-series block. Works wonders and probably the easiest way to do this
- get a '99-'00 EM1 a/c compressor, any b-series a/c bracket (besides the crv or B-series del sol) and EM1 a/c lines. It'll work with your set up. I know this cuz i've got this setup in my LSVTEC
good luck, mate

The only way to use the B compressor is to change the lines, which i don't think is worth the trouble

Re: Ac with a b series
But I will only have to change the short line from the top of the condenser to the compressor and the short low pressure line from the compressor right?

Re: Ac with a b series
From Deetz's pic, you'd need to change 4 and 5. I have personally done this myself. That is what you need to replace to use the B series compressor.

HAMOTORSPORTS sells various AC brackets for B series with D compressors but they're pricey
