ABS on drum brakes?
Just a random question. I was at the junkyard this morning and noticed a 92-95 civic sedan with all the ABS wiring and module, but it had drum brakes in the rear??
to my knowledge ABS only came on the disk brake rear ends correct?
I mean it could be possible that it was switched from disk to drums (why i havnt the slightest clue), but it wasnt stock either (had a nice set of fat 5's on the rear i was thinking about). Anyone have any input?

there are car makers that actually use a drum/abs set up. though honda didn't, or atleast i think they haven't. if you've seen this on 92-95 sedan, maybe the car was stolen. i have seen this where they steal the rear disc set up and to roll it out they throw on the drums. there is a black type r like this at my local yard.
if i had the place for it i would buy the type r shell, DAMN IT!

Why the hell would they throw drums back on an empty shell?

To roll it where you need to. Or if you're junking the car, the junkyard needs the car to be on a rolling suspension.
My 2001 CRX has rear drums (WTF!!!) and it is ABS equipped.

to roll it out from where they stripped it and drop it off? IDK, this is what i have seen. maybe the thieves are retarded, maybe they no something that i don't know.
but looking at the itr, they threw ot on there, and trust me, i know what a itr looks like. i know the difference between the a integra chassis and a itr chassis.

Yeah, it's super dopper rare. It its faster then all Honda Type R combain.
Ok, seriously now. Not sure which year it was for 96-00. The ex had optional ABS and it was drum only for the rear.
