It is about time I swap
After a long period of saving up and researching, I have decided I am near enough to the point of swapping that I go ahead and finally decide which motor to buy. Right now I know I want something with the power of a b18c5 or more. I am not going to be doing any hardcore tuning or building of the engine for now. So those things are not a factor for me. Right now what I am mainly concerned about is fit and compatibility. I have a '98 Honda Civic EX.
I am looking for an engine with low mile-age and '98 or younger (preferable JDM).
If you guys could give me some educated opinions on which complete swap to make, I would be greatly appreciative.
The engines I am looking at right now are the:
F20C (S2000) i dont know too much about that one yet
B18C5 (Integ Type R)
Any information helping me would be awesome. Opinions included. Thanks guys!

F20C would be pretty hard since its rear wheel drive.. you dont wanna do that one. I suggest either the B18C5 or maybe swapping in the K series... just depends on how much you wanna spend.

K series is gonna be difficult to. I would say go H22A but again a lotta people have trouble with that swap. If you EVER think your gonna do head work or anything like that, even if you think you will a while from now, go with a gsr swap, not an ITR.

why not ITR?
i'd go with b18c5 full swap.

Re: It is about time I swap (Znypar)
I dont want a gsr swap, I could've bought the car itself instead of my civic. Thanks for the info on the F20, completely slipped my mind.
I originally was going to get the type-r swap but I cant find one for my specs under $5K. Thanks for the current replies.
Any more info is greatly appreciated.

swapping a gsr in a civic isn't the same as buying a gsr, you'd be saving a couple hundred pounds
if u wanna go n/a.... get the itr
if u wanna have some fun and go turbo go with a b20/b18b and boost away( for the money you'd spend on an itr you get get a fairley new, low milage ls motor, which are dirt cheap, build it and throw on a decent size turbo and run high boost)
