Default About my car and how much i paid for it.

Ok its a 93 honda civic DX four door sedan! Color is white with black trim! Engine is a d15b7 with a vtec head! Rear disc brakes all around. 5 speed. Straight piped. Um the problem is the brakes make noise, check engine light comes on after 6000 rpm. And oil is splashing on the exhaust manifold. Other than that this car is my dream . Thanks for your time - william ramos!

A 93 DX came stock with rear drum brakes. So that is a modification. Find out which brake is making noise then take the wheel off and inspect.

Oil leaking out of the valve cover and running down onto the exhaust is common. Replace the valve cover gasket. DO NOT over-tighten the valve cover bolts, they are easy to break.

When check engine light comes on you need to see what the code is.

Can you remind me how the number sequence works for code reading the ecu? And i did not know it was just the valve cover gasket but before i tried taking off the valve cover i loosend the bolts and it didnt not want to come off could it be the bolts were not loose enough or was it like a security bilt not letting the valve cover iff?

So i come to realize this ecu does not have an led light to read the code. How else am i supposed to read the code on this 93 honda civic four door sedan?

Well, of course it has all to do with personal preference and what kind of money you want to spend. Me personally, I'm a broke fool. Lol. I'm a fan of the d series, id prob stick with the motor setup you already have unless you want a lot more power. I'd just throw a few bolt ons in like aftermarket exhaust, intake manifold, and a cold air intake just to open up that d15 and allow it to breath a little better. Then lower it on some coil overs and throw something with a little negative offset on for wheels so itd have a little bit of the stanced look. Nothing too crazy as I'd daily it. Remember that small detail and attention to detail is where it counts. But again it's all personal preference. What plans if any do you have for it?

Littles things, such as I replaced my factory leather shifter boot with a Crown Royal bag and a B&M t handle shifter which I painted the accents in purple to match the CR shifter boot, are what will make your ride unique.

Theres small things id do to it to make a daily but a fast car at the end. The alignments off possibly camber or just some new struts will do. Minor fix herevand there but damn when the car is loaded weighed down with weightvits slower than a slug bug byt love it because. Know one day itll be that clean ek i always wanted!

Is this supposed to be a build thread?

It's bordering on a closed thread at the moment.
