About to just give up on my tranny troubles...
I still cant figure out what is wrong here. I have a 2000 GSR swap in my 94 EG hatch. The clutch will start slipping after driving it for a few miles after it is heated up. It slips VERY BAD, coming off a red light i have to baby the gas pedal so soft, because the slightest tap causes the clutch to slip. I changed the clutch, and it still did it, changed the slave and masters, still did the same. I cannot figure it out, Im about to just give up

Re: (StreetwizeRacin2)
Did you change the pilot/throwout bearings when you changed the clutch? Did you install them correctly? Did you bleed the clutch correctly?
I don't know if this will help...but maybe?!?

My friend has the same problem in his 240 when we did a clutch job and a master cylinder change. We did a cluch install and drove it for a while and it started to slip as soon as the engine warmed up. the problem was found in the master cylinder where the pedal atteches to the pump. there should be an adjusting screw of some sort but I dont know how to explain it. I think it was used to adjust the point where the clutch engages. try adjusting that first before you give up.

Do you have oil coming from the bottom of the area where the transmission meets the block? If you do, then your rear main seal is gone and the oil is leaking onto the clutch disc, causing it to slip

Its not the tranny that does it...the rear main seal is in the block...the clutch will continue to slip even if you change transmissions.
