Default about an engine swap.

well i blew my y8 yesterday
and i'm looking at getting a d15b

i have a 97 ex.

*
Engine
*
Transmission 5-Speed LSD
*
Distributor
*
Alternator
*
Starter
*
A/C Compressor
*
Power Steering Pump
*
Intake Manifold
*
Exhaust Manifold
*
Throttle Body
*
Clutch
*
Fly Wheel
*
Pressure Plate

thats what comes with the engine.
would i be able to use my motor mounts from my y8?
and would it wire up to my ecu or would i have to get a different ecu since
a d15b is obd1 and my ecu is obd2?

sorry i'm not that intelligent when it comes to this.
can yall help me out a little?

you can get it to work, but you might as well get ready for the obd1 ecu or you will throw a code nonstop.

I put an obd2 oil pump in my z6 so that would work, you might want to look into doing that.

u can use everything from your stock motor and you need to get an oil pump with the crank sensor on it so you wont throw a code for that. and just use all of your stock mounts
