Default About to do CFK-Bypass Trick....

im about to do the cfk bypass trick from ff-squad.com to get my car inspected.

My scenario is
99 Civic /w JDM OBD2 GSR with a OBD1 ECU(hondata)

I bought the OBD2a P72 USDM ECU (not installed yet)
I bought the OBD2B-to-OBD2A Jumper Harness for the new ECU (not installed yet)
i bought the stock GSR Injectors (not installed yet)
i bought the Quick Splices
Still need the o2 Simulator

i was wondering after i do the bypass trick and get the inspection....when i go to switch back to my Hondata ECU with my 310cc injectors. Will the Bypass trick effect my original set-up (obd2 engine with obd1 ECU) or will i have to go back some how and unsplice the connections.

Also u do the splices after the jumper harness correct?(where it plugs into the jumper harness from engine not where the harness plugs into the ECU.)

Thanks for any help given

1. you will be fine all ur doing is splicing the wires to read from the dizzy instead of the crank. obd1 ecus do not have this so it will not affect ur set up. just make sure ur wiring is correct.
2. ur going to have to do the splices at the ecu plugs because going thru emissions u wont have a jumper harness it will be directly plugged into the obd2 ecu because obd1 ecu's do not have the OBD diagnostics port..

ok i understand the first part, but the second part i dont get what you mean...im not going to have a jumper harness? i just bought the obd2b to obd2a jumper harness to make the new obd2a ECU work, thats the jumper harness i am talking about. i was seeing if i could make the splices into that harness or i should i splices the wires that connect to the harness not the harness itself.

i would cut and splice onto the obd2b-obd2a conversion harness. that would be easyiest and ur not ruining the original harness chopping it up. ur only cutting up a 30-40 dollar harness vs 100+ for a new engine harness.
