About to buy an ek Hatch. HELP!
Hi. I am relatively new into the honda scene. Been around them but dont have one myself. Ok here we go
1996 hatchback 2000 conversion all around
jdm yellow foglights
sunroof conversion.
18' tsw black rims with chrome lip.
Black paint with copper pearl.
Clean title
B18B1 swap with about 47k
Apexi Dart exhaust.
coilovers and shocks. IDK what kind i think he said tokico but im not sure.
Carbon fiber hood.
The outside is flawless clean as hell.
Also has ac.
Interior is stock.
Nrg quick release. Spoon Sports Steering wheel.
Ok now here is the thing he is going to sell it to me for 6000$
But we opened the hood. And the reservoir is empty and we
couldnt open up the radiator cap because the engine was hot.
He said the resevoir is for when the radiator overflows or gets
to much water it goes into the reservoir. Which Im pretty sure the
resevoir is to hold the water / radiator fluid for the radiator to take the fluid
and put it in the radiator. If im incorrect tell me. He has driven the motor
for 2,000 miles since hes had it. So 2000 without water in the resevoir
The motor does not overheat as we were driving i was watching.
So tell me more input on what you guys think.
Thank you in advanced.
Shawn.

I'm not a fan of buying someone else's project, I'm a firm believer of building not buying, and building up a Honda is a great way to learn. If you are worried about the reservoir then buy one and put it in the car. I don't know why he doesn't have one installed but it's not really hurting anything.
