about to buy 05 civic ex special edition coupe, what engine swap is available for it?
im about to buy a 05 civic ex special edition coupe.. i like everything on it other than the 127 hp pretty slow =/ so thinking about doing an engine swap or something... from what i know b20vtec is only like 147, is it a good idea to go for that? or what other good choices are available? and whats the price gonna be?

k series swap is probably the best one out there. but since you dont have the car yet, why not consider buying an RSX-S or something w/ more horsepower to begin with rather than swapping out a brand new motor on a brand new car.

dude research. at the top of the eg/del sol page theres a huge post on what swaps are available.
just do research before you post stupid stuff.

first of all, why would you want to buy an 05 and want to swap out the motor. might as well get a used car to save money, then swap. otherwise i'd say what everyone else is suggesting and save a little more for a car you want, or has decent power.
