? about brakes
When I bought my car, the person I bought it from handed me a spare brake booster, and said it was from a gsr. My question is would it improve braking, or should I leave my stock one on? I've had no probles with my brakes and I am a firm believer of the "don't fix it if it's not broke unless it's an upgrade" quote.
By the way I have a 92 si hatch and was told that the booster would bolt up,but I don't want to take the time to do this if it's for nothing.
I've also done some searching on this, thats how I know it'll bolt up, but I haven't found any info on the benifits of doing this.
Thanks in advance.

Re: ? about brakes (92 si hatch)
the gsr brake booster is not going to improve your braking as far as stopping abilities. the booster will only decrease the amount of brake pedal distance neccesary to engage the front calipers and rear drums or calipers. It is advisable to change brake boosters when upgrading to gsr front discs but unless a big brake upgrade is made, it isn't advisable to upgrade the booster.
