99si fit in 2k EX?

Default 99si fit in 2k EX?

I swear it doesnt but a freind of mine said he did it so please help me call bullshit on this one.

opps the 99si into the 2k ex?

You mean the '01 EX, now that I would say not w/o many many many
mods, basically no.

Yes, as stated, B16A from the 99Si will fit in the 00EX... essentially same chassis (different code, EMvsEJ, but almost same).

Civic generation change began 2001, new engine design, new chassis layout.

99si ecu fit into bone *** stock 2k civic ex? I thought they were differnt plugs, i.e. abd, bcd

Well, if you are just talking about swapping ECU's I don't think that will work, but I don't know. If you are talking about being able to put his engine in your car then that will work. What exactly are you asking?

just ecu swap supposidly as friend of mine bought a 99 si scu and put it in his 2k ex sohc. he bought it on ebay, i tried to tell him that if it fit it was from a sohc si.

It will work...I'm not sure what kind of gains he'll get..probably nothing at all.

Si ecu on an Ex engine? Guess your friend likes to float valves or something.

Oh, and yes you can keep ac with the swap.
