Probably not, but this is forum where most people with Civics rest, and hatches with swaps range on a HUGE spectrum, and obviously I don't know well enough, thought I'd ask.

And the Si is mine, however, it really shouldn't matter who has what. Is this trade even, should cash be invovled, and how much?

i would stay with the si, but if you are going to trade it, it would be an even trade in my eyes, mainly cause the si is just a shell.

I wish I could to, but I can't.

The reason why I am asking here is cause I see swapped hatches range from 6-8 with nearly the same mods and chasis.

honestly you have to look at it just as honda does,
Coupes are more desireable to the public, and the fact that the Hatch is at best a 14sec car on street tires..and your car easily does 13s with the turbo setup. the coupe would sell on the open market for $13k tops.. and I mean top if you reinstall the interior.. the hatch would sell for $8k at most given that the motor is older and the tranny need to be rebuilt.. but who cares, it seems as though you decision that the coupe is worth more in your head.

So ask the guy for 4k or more and trade, you can get a itr tranny to wake up that motor and get a decent suspension over the tokicos..and call it a day... of course the only people who would pay so much for these cars are kids who dont have the resources or passion to build the car themselves. To most H-Ters the hatch is worth what 7k and the si shell is 10k.. hope this helps if not oh wel in reflection, I would keep the coupe or sell it and get a different car

The interior on the Si is all there.
And yea, I do feel my coupe is worth a bit more, but I don't think 10k is right since it is just a shell, plus I am still missing a few turbo parts, tuning ect.. to make it up to that 13k mark that it might/could be worth depending on the build.

If the hatch right now sitting as is is about 8k then I think it's pretty close to an even trade. I have been trying to sell my car for ~8k for a while with no luck. (I see my car for about 2 weeks a year which is why I cannot finish her )

Well I can just wish you luck on getting the max you canfor the coupe, but if you are really wanting a hatch, then go for it, especially if the paint is new and such, it'll make a good project since it looks to be in flawless condition. But always beware of other peoples projects as it may have problems which you can not see until you have the car for a while. I say keep the Coupe. But as you said you have no time for a car. its hard to say what you should do. Just make sure you have no doubts about the trade, if you do forget it.

That's all I'm praying for thanks.

I offered him the Si minus the FMIC for his car I hope that's a good deal since he has to haul her away, he doesn't live too far.

I'd just finish your car. Here's the bottom line yours has 73,000 some miles and the hatch has 170,000 some. Regardless of engine/tranny the chassis has those many miles. Besides your car is worth a lot more than the hatch ever will be. IMO I wouldn't do it.
