99 Si rear wheel bearing torque
Ok, so yeah, driver side bearing is pretty well shot, going to have to fork over 150 for it... in a few days. So that means I am doing it myself. My tools were stolen, I know it needs (supposibly) 134 lb/ft of tq on the spindle nut, the big one. If that is wrong correct me, but without a torque wrench, how much of a turn is that past contact? Any help is appreciated.

Not sure on how much it turns after contact. That's something that is governed by the thread pitch and probably isnt the same for every bolt.
If you have a 65 lb dumbell and a 2' piece of pipe you'll get about 134 lb*ft of torque. just measure the 2' out from the center of ratchet and hang the dumbell.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Lol, ghetto torque wrench eh? well I can manage that, I think.... Perhaps there will be somewhere I can just borrow one for about 20 minutes or something...
