99 si climate control in a 97 civic hb....HELP!!!
i have a 97 ek wit an si dash, climate control and all but the wires for the climate controls dont match up...i wanted to put a 97 climate controll back into it but i dont have the 97 dash wit the manuel vents, so my only choice to to get the 99 climate conrol to work but i dont know how. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what wiring to you have? You need the heater box and the wiring from a 99. 96-2000 aside from some colors are the same ******* dash AS a dash. yes the climate controls are different, yes the gauges are different, but the dash is the same thing..

i have the wiring that controls the climate and stuff from a 99 si. let me know if anyone needs it. its a harness plug has a blue plug and a grey i think.

thanks alot but i dont think thats wut i need......ive herd that i need the entire wiring that runs under the entire dash.

From what I have heard there is a lot more involved then wiring and you should probably abandon your project. The 96-98 Civic Have Analog Switches where as the 99-00 Civics have digital so you will need a nunch more crap then wiring harnesses....

You need to get the dash harness from a 99-00 Civic. Any of them will do. They will plug directly into the SI dash face to control the climate stuff. I'm assuming you also have the 99/00 heater box and fan. You will need these because of the electronic motor on the fan. IM me if you have more questions. I haven't done the swap, but have researched and may be able to offer some insight.

ive done search but still no answers to my problem. heres a recap of the problem im having. i have a 97 civic with full 99 interior (dash board and everything) the only thing that doesnt work is the climate control. i wanted to downgrade to a 97 climate control but im gonna need a 97 dash again that has the manuel vents in them. if anyone knows what to do can u help.

You need the whole dash and everything underneath it. As well as a few other things. I've heard it done ONCE...good luck.
