99 HX TRANNY VS 99 EX TRANNY
I WAS DOING SOME RESEARCH AN I SEEN THAT THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO WAS THE GEAR RATIOS IN 1ST AN THRIRD ... HOW MUCH OF A DIFFERENCE CAN I FEEL FROM JUST THEM TWO GEARS???

I believe all D series 1st gears are the same? Correct me if Im wrong,
Even if 1st and 3rd gears were different ( longer) then that would affect you because 1st gear wouldnt accelerate as fast, and after shifting from 2nd to 3rd, it will drop out of your power band in 3rd.

all d- series tranies share the same first gear, sma ewith b- series.
the final drive will make a big difference in acceleration.
