99 EX Vs 04 GTI VR6
Just to make everyone proud... last night i handed this kid his *** after destroying him with my almost stock 99 Civic Ex... with a simple intake and exhaust... ok now heres my question... why spend all that money on a slow, and way too heavy car, when you can get one of the best made cars for around 16k ? Stupid people with too much money is what it sounds liek to me? Any Opinions?

Wow guy that's great. Either this "kid" couldn't drive, or it was some freak of nature. For some reason I think the 180 hp VR6 would take your 125 hp D16Y8, but that's just me. And something else, peep out the forum guidelines before you start posting this waste of time, and don't make it a habit.

Someone else gave you the link to the Kill Stories forum, go there and post this again.
And don't be knocking on Neuspeed. Neuspeed has been around since the 1970's developing aftermarket suspension and performance parts for Volkswagen's primarily, but lately broke into the Honda/Acura market. Neuspeed is to VW what DC Sports is to Honda.

Re: 99 EX Vs 04 GTI VR6 (a1320honda)
just to clarify
this post should be in the kills board.
but since i'm here..
my friend has a GTI vr6, older model, like 96 or so.
with cams, drilled airbox, exhaust and chip.
his car is VERY ******* fast,
I have driven it,
he spanked a turbo teg just yesterday,
and runs prettymuch neck and neck with G35 coupes,
the new ones are pretty ******* slow, too heavy of a car,
but they look nice. People usually dont waste time messign around with the newer vr6's, its the 1.8t that you should watch out for.
