Default 99 ex with b18c1 swap HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

first off I want to say thank you HT in advance. Well here's my issue. I have a 99 civic ex and just put a 98 b18c1 swap in with a obd2b p72 ecu with the the immobilizer removed so it will plug into my stock harness. For the fuel pump to turn on im supposed to repin A16 to A15 and im off to a bad start. I was unsuccessful with trying to repin so far i butchered the the plug and A16 green/yellow wire was pulled from the harness plug. now is it possible to get a new number A plug end for obd2b, or am i screwed? tomorrow i will try to buy a end for the wire so it will go back into the plug, but since the white retainer clip inside the connector will not release im not sure it will go into the connector, or is there another way around this? This is frustrating its the only thing holding me back from starting my car any advice or help would be much appreciated. thanks again in advance

ps: im pretty much out of money at this point so the cheaper the better, and the plug still does plug into the ecu just can not stand anything being rigged in my car. The reason for the obd2b ecu is cause i still need to pass emissions and hate ugly check engine lights to, and just cant afford to run a chipped p28 with tune just yet after the car is running and everything is perfect i will get the new ecu and have it tuned, but after i get this problem fixed!!!!

Yeah, it's easy to mess those up trying to repin. It almost requires 3 hands, a foot, and your ******* to get pins out of one of those plugs, and that's with a friend helping. There's a trick to it, and you have to be gentle.

So you just need an 'A' plug?

I've cut ECU plugs off of junkyard cars because I needed pins. They charge me $2 for them. Any local pick-n-pull should have some. Cut one off and solder it onto the end of your effed up one. That's going to be your best and cheapest bet.

Barring that, you *might* be able to buy one from http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/. From a quick glance though, it really looks like they just sell the whole engine harness.

yea i cant seem to think of any other solution either i was kinda hoping to be able to buy it new connector and just pull all of the pins out of the effed up plug and repin the new plug but i dont see that happening. I was going to call rywire to see if they would or could send me the plug end so that way i dont have to be upside down and on my back with a saudering iron.

Well, you could do that with a junkyard plug too. At least, it gives you something to practice removing pins on before you mess up another one.

Here's the best way I've found to get pins out of the OBD2 plugs:

You'll need a needlenose, a small flathead, and a supertiny flathead (like for adjusting glasses).

Use the needlenose to pop the white plug up a bit, so that you can get the small flathead under the end that you're working with. Put the flathead in.

Hold the plug in left last 2 fingers of your left hand, with your first 2 fingers working the tiny screwdriver into the female end of the pin you're trying to remove. Your right hand should have the last 2 fingers wrapped around the wire you're trying to remove, front 2 fingers supporting the plug, and the handle of the screwdriver in your palm to apply pressure on the white release at the right time.

Stick the tiny screwdriver in the female end of the pin you're working with. There's a release catch inside there that you have to hit at the same time that you're pulling on the wire with your last 2 fingers, and prying upward slightly on the release, all at the same time.

When you manage to do all 3 things in a synchronized manner, the wire will come right out like there was nothing holding it in. You'll feel like a one-legged man in an ***-kicking contest, but it should work if you can get it all going at once.
