my 99 si has a jdm b18c, the harness in it is ****ed so i wanna put in a new one. besides make a harness, what harness should i use? obd2b i assume but it seems like there is so many extra plugs un used. any advice?

As I understand it you use the harness for the car, not the engine.

use a 99-00 si harness, not sure why there are any unused plugs. if anything you should have had to add another for the iab.

Just to further support the other two's comments, my 99 EM1 has a JDM B18C-R and is using the EM1 harness with a P73-003 ecu. I bought the car this way but while going over it the only extra plug that isnt being used is the IAT sensor in the IM, Im using the IAT from the intake tube instead.

if it's a jdm B18C, there should be an empty plug for the CF sensor by the crank pulley

and as others have mentioned, the 99-00 Si harness is what you want
