99 Electron Blue Civic Si STOLEN 9/1/03 in KNOXVILLE, TN
My 99 EBP Si was stolen tonite from the Strawberry Plains Food City where I work between 10:30 PM and 10:55 PM. It was stock on the outside, no spoiler, Kumho Ecsta Supra tires, legal 35% window tint on all the windows. Has a short ram intake on the motor. I just got the car last Monday. It has 2 ECU's in it, a MSD 6AL, Vortech FMU, my HP Digital camera and a Motorolla cell phone. All that was just sitting in the car.

Nobody ever touched my hooked up "JDM style" Integra, but noooo...they had to take the stock Civic Si that I owe 11 grand on. yey. and my damn cell phone.

did you have theft protection? alarm? autolock? club? kill switches? honestly in this day and age, if you dont have any sort of theft protection, you're lucky if you get up every morning and your honda is still out in the driveway

The alarm was set and I haven't had a chance to get any other kind of theft deturrent devices. I've only had it since MONDAY. There was no broken glass anywhere around where it was parked. And it was parked in a well lit, visible area where people are always walking by, and where I can see it easily from the door.

I would have never thought that car theft would be an issue in Knoxville as much as it is...I lived there for five years. My girlfriend's GSR was stolen from my apartment complex (Windover) about two years ago. The car was never found, but the police informed us that several Civics and Integras had been stolen that week in the area...

Man that sucks. I live in Maryville, TN not too far from Straw Plains. I wouldn't think car theft would be a big problem in this area, but I guess it can be anywhere. I hope everything turns out okay, that they either find your car, or the insurance covers it

I'm real sorry to hear about your car. I live east of nashville and my 99 Si got broken into about a month 1/2 ago and they have been back 3 times since it happen trying to get in my car again and get in my dad's shop behind our house. They tried again last night but my neighbor ran them off. it's crazy how stupid theives are. My dad carries a gun now so if they come back again there might be some issues resolved. good luck on gettin your car back. did you have a licences plate on it yet. if so what's the plate number and i'll have some of my friends that live up your way to look out for the car.

there is a way to track the cell phone if they left it was left on thats if they didnt throw it out. I did not do this but i knew a guy that did this, i hate thieves, he had stolen cell phones and the police tracked it to where he was. So you might want to do some research on how this can be done. I think your phone company can do this or maybe it is some other agency. Good luck on getting your car back

The only time I ever had anything stolen from my car was in Knoxville, some thugs jacked a cd player from my 89 jetta, I had left the door unlocked, but it was one of those things, i just never thought it was gonna happen to me.
Got my pearl jam yeild CD after I had only had it a week, that made me more mad than anything else.
Since, i've moved to a more remote location, and theft is just starting to set in locally, i kinda wish my Jetta would get stolen, but once I find another shell for the all motor beast (b18c, built yO!), there will be so many anti-theft precautions, i might not ever be able to drive it.
