Icon2 99 ek with OBD1 conv, what O2 sensor do i use?

I have a 99 civic with a 90 b18a1 swap. Rywire did the harness and I also bought an OBD1 distributor and ECU from him. now that the car is OBD1 and not OBD2 is it ok to keep using my original O2 sensor that goes behind the cat or do I need to buy one from a OBD1 integra. Rywire said the 99 O2 sensor is ok but the car is running rough and i have checked all my sensors and cant find anything wrong with them. My car has no Cat and normally an OBD1 car has one sensor before the Cat. My new harness only excepts one sensor and so i have my 99 sensor at the end of my header where it recieves the air stream from all four cylinders. I cant find anything that states the difference between O2 sensors. so i cant figure out if using my 99 sensor is causing my car to run rough? I would appreciate any advice on this topic.

OBD1 and OBD2 4 wire O2 sensors work the same.

if the 4 wire sensors are the same why all the different part numbers? do they all have different heat ranges? i dont understand why every honda or acura has its own part number for an O2 sensor if underneath they are the same?

The length of the wire to the plug is different, and in a couple of cases its actually a different plug. Heat range is the same, sensor itself is the same.

My car finally threw a code and its #43 fuel supply system. i have a fuel pressure gauge at the entrance of my fuel rail and when driven the fuel pressure doesnt drop or cut out. i am using my oem 99 civc injectors, rywire suggested to use those instead of the oem 90 integra injectors b/c their the same cc's. so since i know my fuel pressure is good up to my fuel rail im not sure what to check. i made sure the injectors where clean when i installed them and i replaced all of the Orings. im not getting a code for a fuel injector. the fuel pressure is set to honda service manual specs.

Code 43 often indicates an O2 sensor on the way out, its not bad enough to throw an O2 sensor code yet, but its bad enough to screw up your air fuel ratio. The other thing is the injectors, what engine did they come out of? D16Y7s are only 190CC (I believe D16Y5s are as well) D16Y8s and all B-series are 240CC. This can also throw a code 43 if they aren't the right flow rate.

ahhh. this stinks. i have a Cx so i had a D16Y7 so i have injectors that are too small and Rywire said they where they same so that means they didnt pick up on the Cx part when i placed my order. So i have been driving around with the wrong injectors and trying to find a bad sensor for the last 3 weeks b/c i thought thats what my problem was. thanks so much for your help
