99 ek auto 2 man and motor swap help..
There are tons of auto 2 man guides I just am a tad confused and I would just like a quicker easier answer.
So I have a 99 civic ex auto with y8 I bought a b16a jdm motor I am going to be using obd2b 99-00 em1 (p2t) ecu. I have a obd2b dist. So my questions are do I have to repin ecu at all or am I good with set up? And clutch pedal wise there is the starter cut out switch on clutch pedal what do I do with that? Run it to where? IACV do I have to do anything with this? Again I'm using proper ecu and I'm using same IACV from my y8, do I need to change that? Any help is much apprieated . I will have a few more questions but just these for now. Thanks

2 wire iacv conversion. your 99 auto y8 uses a 3 wire throttle body mounted iacv, b16 uses 2 wire. i typed out everything you need but deleted it. there are numerous detailed write ups for auto to manual with pics on here.

you need a 2 wire iacv.
you also don't need to install a clutch switch. it can save your life if you ever stall out in an emergency or the car dies in a busy intersection, you can use the starter to pull your car to safety.
