99 civic turns off while on

Default 99 civic turns off while on

hi everyone,

i have a b16obd2 jdm the engine shuts off when it is full warmed up.
i have checked the fuses, changed out the dizzy, made sure the fuel pump and fuel filter is working. i also checked the main relay and that is working fine too. i cant figure what is going on with the car. can someone please help me out?

Have you checked the coil for spark? and check your ICM.

Any codes?

i get no check engine light every time the engine shuts off. and i have already checked for spark

Had the same issue with a d15b7 were it would run until it warmed up and after swapping the dizzy once with a rebuild and having the same problem I found out that the rebuilt one wasn't working either.
Got that one swapped for free at the parts store and car worked fine.

I would start with the dizzy cause I spent some money before I circled back around to that thing.

could be your coil have you stress tested the ign sys ?

you'll need an HEI tester. didn't watch the video myself so it may not be 100% what you're looking for but still.

took it to a friends house and tested it and it all seems good to him and me.
