Default 99 civic Sir exhaust

I have an extra aftermarket b-pipe lying around that has a 60mm or 2.36 inch tubing. Was just wondering if it would be a good idea to modify the stock em1 muffler to fit the pipe. Would there be any problems due to a smaller size tubing on the stock exhaust? it seems like good idea with the mandrel bend tubing for better exhaust flow and the quietness of the stock exhaust. what do you guys think?or

It wont give you any more power because of reducing it back to stock size and it will be really raspy.

Would it be better than having all stock?

If they're not going to do anything for the power I wouldn't do it.
