ok so i have 99 civic si with b16a2 turboed. ive been having a problem lately with a misfire once i reach a certain point in the gas pedal. i think it is leaning out but idk exactly what is causing it and wnted to double check before i start buying stuff. my fuel pressure gauge is reading 56 psi like it is supposed to because of fuel press. regulator. i figure if the fuel pump is getting weak fuel press. would drop. the dizzy has recently been rebuilt new coil,icm,cap, button so forth. about 2 month old wires and ive change plugs in it 3 times in the past 4 days. comp. test was good. when the car is cold will misfire in 1st and 2nd at take off but wont in 3rd 4th or 5th till it warms up.just dont understand it and getting pretty aggrivated with it.if anyone has an idea lmk know your thoughts.thanks

Any CEL codes? Is the ignition timing adjusted to spec with a timing light? Have you checked the fuel injectors?

How do you NOT know if its leaning out or not? DO you have a wideband?

no cel codes. all the timing has been done correctly. it just started this the other day randomly.timing hasnt been messed with in proly a 8 months. and no i do not have a wideband.

Does it do this when you drive it like a grandma or are you smashing on it when it's cold?

first question: why are you driving a turbo'd car when its still cold, it needs to warm up

second: are you bogging the motor out or having your foot pushed down alot to the floor at low rpms?

depending on what ecu you are running i know hondata has built in lean protection so if you lean out too much it will cut ignition or fuel or both , you could be hitting that.

let that ish warm up.. you said it doesn't happen when its warm so let it idle for a good 5 mins before driving it

it does it worse when it constantly after i get about 20 throttle. and i do give the car time to warm up the temp gauge just doesnt get to operating temp until driving a little bc i have the fan running constantly. and it does it when i drive it like my grandma.
