99 civic Si, stolen recovery, replaced with EX parts, back to B series, questions
OK so I'm having a hard time understanding what I have and what I need, so I hope you guys can answer a few questions I have.
I have a 99 Si. It was stolen from the previous owner. He recovered it without the swap, and rear disc swap. The parts were replaced from a 99 EX, so it has a D16Y8 and rear drum. He then sold it to me.
OK now it gets interesting. I blew the D16, and I want to put a B series back in it. I know I need the basics: shift linkage, mounts, axles, right? I am more curious about A/C and P/S. I don't know which A/C comp or P/C pump and lines I have, but I'm assuming its all D series including the P/S lines because everything looks original to an EX.
If I remember correctly, I will need the CRV B20 A/C and P/S brackets to use D series stuff on a B series motor. But is there any way the original Si pumps and brackets are on the D16?
Adivce / Suggestions? Thanks

the ps pump should be the same and fit.
also the ac compressor. any b series ac mount bracket will work.

i ran into this problem before with a 96 EX. i swapped in a b16 and the PS pump and AC compressor didnt fit. i rigged up the PS pump brackets and got a CRV AC bracket to use the d16 compressor on the b16.
im assuming the guy that swapped in the y8, left everything on the motor and swapped the whole thing - so i have D series pump and compressor.
