99' Civic HX engine swap question
I'm wondering if there's anything odd I should know about? It's a 1999 Honda Civic HX w/ 5-speed being swapped to a B16A. Anything I should know about? Axle upgrade? Shave the engine mounts? Anything like that?
Thanks,
Richard

It seems you've done no searching for yourself.
#1. The Hx uses a wideband O2 sensor. If you keep your stock harness, you will need to modify this to accept a 4-wire O2 sensor.
#2. Axle upgrade - if you searched a little, you'd see that when you swap a B-series engine into another chassis, that you use the B-series axles.
#3. Shave the engine mounts?? No, but you will need to use a combo of D and B series mounts/brackets to get the B-series in there. Again, many writeups for this info.
Search more - not just here but using Google too. Even popular magazines have posted online articles that were published - such as Honda Tuning. They have a search button much like this site does. Hybrid Honda, c-speed - just two more sites to look at for info.
You should also buy a Helms manual - its a fraction of the cost of a swap and will save you more than what you spent on the swap, over the long run.
