99 Civic Headlight
Hey guys, i am planning on picking up these headlights for my civic but i am hesitant at the moment. The reason why i am hesitating is from the pics of the headlight the sides look wierd to me. I was wondering if i can get some input. Thanks

they look normal to me. What do you mean the headlight sides look wierd?
Are you just buying these because they are painted? You can either paint your own...or get the better looking CTR replicas for like $120 from islandmotorsports.com

If you want something to do, you can wet sand and buff your current headlights to make them look clearer.

Re: 99 Civic Headlight (REAL TIME)
well how much are you buying them for...
obviously.. .someone baked those USDM headlights and painted the inside and sealed them up. (look at the top of the headlights you can see the sealant has been done by hand as in "DIY". Either the reflector is painted over or they popped them out and put foil over them and then placed them back in.
depending on how well they sealed them up you can also get fogging up issues/condensation.
You cant tell whether they did a good job just by the pictures.
i wouldnt pay more than 50 bucks for those.

If your current headlights are "fogged" (i.e...hazy from wear/sun) on the outside (not condensation on the inside). Try some Meguiars Plast-X. At $8 max. its worth a shot to try it.
