i have the same motor and car but soon going ls/vtec.. if i was you i would just roll stock and save up money for a swap.. and u can feel the vtec when your car is between 5k-7k rpm for your motor. next time youre driving watch what happens after 5k and you will feel it... but your car might not show rpm i thinkk..... unless you have a different gauge cluster or a tach. i have an Si one so i can see mine.. but you can hear it kick in

surely he dont know to much either. all ex models have a tach, vtec hits at 5600 for you and there are y8's out there making 550-600 hp to the wheels maybe more. if u dont have 3000 to do a swap and do it the right way then buy a turbo kit and you will be smoking b16's and ls/vtec's all day. just watch out for the k and h series guys, you will need 10 or more pounds to hang with the big boys
