99 civic ex/d16y8 - Charging system problems
So two weeks ago the little rubber stopper for the brake light sensor broke so the lights stayed on overnight.I fixed it, but the car was giving me problem to start. After a week i figured it was the alternator and not the battery that was bad *went to autozone to test it * so i changed the alternator and now the battery cluster light is on but not completely. its dim and when i turn a blinker it almost blinks a little. After i changed the alternator i went back to autozone to check if the battery was bad and they said it was all good. So i dont really know what to do now lol my car is a civic 99 ex d16y8 engine.

What CEL codes are thrown?
Make sure the alternator belt is tight.
Clean and tighten the connection of the large alternator cable at the hood fuse box and alternator.
Clean and tighten the G1 battery ground attached to the chassis and the battery connectors to the posts.
