99 Civic EX Body Kit Suggestions?
I have a stock 99 Civic. I was thinking about buying a new car, but I figured fixing this one up nice may be a good idea.
Do any of you have pictures of kits you have installed or suggestions? It's a daily driver, not so much for racing although maybe in the future. Is it fairly easy to install these kits? Mainly, I don't want to have to modify any parts to install them. I don't know how well these kits fit. Would I need to paint before I install? Or could I install then go get it painted?
I mainly would like front bumper, rear, maybe hood (if it looks cool..) headlights, possibly mirrors and I also need a new steering wheel. Or atleast a replacement airbag cover.
Thank you guys for your suggestions!!

Chargespeed. BYS. Problem is that people abused bodykits by buying cheap replicas. It's not rice until you make the car look bad or stray away for purpose.

body kits?
drop and a lip?
to each man, his own.
if he wants to get a body kit, then that is what he likes.
let it be. ricer or not, that is his taste.
OP, i suggest using Google and looking at pictures of different body kits, if you wish to go down that path. just compare pictures and which ever one you like, then go for it.
you can have it painted b4 you install it or after. it all depends on you. but its cheaper to get it painted b4 you install it.

This one looks killer, it's probably the best looking body kit available. Unfortunately, I'm not sure who makes it, or if one is available for your car. Maybe someone can help identify it though.

Where are you located? The thought of a body kit anywhere that has snow on a daily driver is a bad idea. Just imagine spending all the money on a kit, getting it painted, then hitting a snow drift. Most kits are fiberglass, some better quality then others, but either way when it gets cold it becomes brittle. The only thing worse than a poor fitting body kit on civic is a cracked body kit on a civic. Also I noticed you said it's stock. Without some sort of suspension on a body kit you'll end up with the hideous 4x4 look. Your easiest, cheapest, and safest bet is to get lips for it. Depending on the color you might be able to find a used lip in the ht marketplace for cheap that is already painted to match. If you don't think the type r, mugen, or si lips look aggressive enough for your tastes you might want to look into the tsunami style or the j's racing style one. I had a tsunami ureathane lip on my old ex and I thought it looked nice. Just my opinion though.

Re: 99 Civic EX Body Kit Suggestions?
what about sir bumpers???
if you buy a "bodykit" you will most likely have to mod it to get it to fit.
if you go with a bys or something it will look great and fit, Unfortunately, they are expensive.
headlights, paint your stock ones, or pick up, sir, ctr, or even ebay black hosing look good, but i dont recomend getting them.
hood, oem or carbon fiber.
there are alot of really nice steering wheels, or you could go with a ctr, or rsx wheel.
all that is just my opinon or what i would do, but if you want a body kit go for it, just make sure it fit rights, and is paint matched.
