Default 99 civic dx problem

Ok. i just noticed this tonight so dont hit me up with alot of questions until tomorrow. My problem is; i was driving home from work tonight and noticed that ALL my lights were pulsating. so i searched around on here and found a couple things went out and tryed them nothing helped. What i did notice that when the car was running i would take the ground off the battery and it would stop pulsating. any ideas? Thanks for your time.

Possible alternator problem. Is 7.5A fuse #15 under the dash blown?

thats an EVAP code that shouldnt have anything to do with your lights pulsating. get your alternator checked.

Bad cat or an exhaust leak.

By the way, you can damage the electrical system by disconnecting the battery when the engine is running. Avoid doing this.

Try cleaning and tightening the battery ground connection and battery connectors.

Is the CEL on?

Did you replace fuse #15 with a known good fuse? Is the light flickering problem intermittent? If so, you would need to test the alternator when the problem is happening to know if the alternator is the problem.

Does the dash battery/charge light go on while driving?

i did not replace the fuse pulled out to look at and see if bad. light problem happens whenever the car is running. what i meant earlier is that it went away for a bit then came back later in the day.no it does not come on.

You have to make absolutely sure that 7.5A fuse #15 is not blown. Swap a known good fuse into that slot.
