99 civic coupe won't run after engine install
Recently purchased a 1999 civic coupe and an ls v-tech motor. Got the motor installed but now it wont run. It turns over, but I am not getting any spark and my fuel pump is not kicking on. I have an obd2b distributor with an obd1 ecu and an obd2b to obd1 jumper harness. I have tried switching out dizzy's, the edu, and the main relay and still have the same results. I was told it could be the aftermarket alarm system that was installed into the car before I purchased it. I don't know what the problem could be. Anyone have any idea's?

Re: Can't figure it out!
All the major parts work fine in another EK. Could the aftermarket alarm system be shutting down the distributor and fuel pump? The alarm appears to be coming from 6 or 7 leads from the steering column, can I just pull it out?

So apparently we have the wrong wiring harness in the car as well. Turns out it was NOT an obd2b so now I have to try and find the right wiring harness as well as figure out this alarm thing
