I know there are a million write-ups to fix this, but ive read them. My 99 coupes window goes off trac up or down every time. It has a new regulator, freshly lubed tracks and ive tried every adjustment known to mankind. No matter what i do, i cannot fix this. I have a bmw, an aircooled vw, but the honda by far makes me the angriest.
Plz help.
I need ideas, whatever you got. Im wondering if i can bend the rails in any way to help. Im very close to buying a whole door to get rid of this garbage *** POS.

You can try a new run channel seal. If the regulator or the two metal peices that push the window up are loose at the center rivet you might buy a new regulator. May be able to buy it without the motor. Dont get a used one cuz your gonna have same problem. Basically if you replace the run channel and the regulator itl be almost brand new. You can try to bend that front channel where the run channel seal goes but IDK. Its welded in dont break the welds.

i swaped a 96 hatch manual windows to 99 coupe power windows in fix it with /96-00 2door model civic- your problem is probably a Channel, L. FR. Door Run part number 72275-s03-g01 cost me $68 to FL. @ hondapartsnow.com. it has to be that rubber wheather seal around your window i believe..... try it out and let me kno if works. hope this helps
