Re: 99 civic climate control question (carter628)
I did one of these once, but it's been some time ago. Start at the rear of the center console and work towards the dash. That's the right way to do it and it's kind of a pain in the ***. Auto makers are all worried about people seeing a few screws so they overlap all that S with clips and B.S. so it's all nicey, nicey until you have to work on it. Have a blast, it sucks.

Re: 99 civic climate control question (carter628)
I manage an autobody shop and have to rip out interiors all the time. Once a month one of my guys leaves the lights on or pulls the battery out of a Honda and I have to pull the head unit out to get the serial # so I can call Honda and get the f-ing radio code (the owners always lose them).

theres screws under the climate control (look from the cup holder point of view), then you have a few dispersed on each side of the console, some inside your lower glove compartment, and some on the lower right hand side of the driver's side area...just start unscrewing **** and you'll figure it out.
