Ok, sorry for the back-to-back new threads from a newbie, but I've also got another problem I'm trying to figure out...

So, my a/c blower motor has been an issue for a while now. It's cooling and heating properly, but been making an ungodly loud rattling noise even in the lower "on" position. I've cleaned it out numerous times over the years, having lived in a number of wooded areas, there's been plenty of build-up. The problem still persists, however.

I bought a new blower motor this afternoon, problem is, when I went to hook it up there was a different connection on it than my previous blower motor.

Did I get the wrong blower motor?

The one I bought is a PM3789, which from everything I've read, is compatible with my range (1992-2000 Honda Civic), so what's the deal? Am I missing something very obvious and just showing my lack of car knowledge?

yea that one looks like a generic fit all application you could cut and splice the wire or buy an oem
