hey guys, well i swapped the motor in, and it runs, now i just have to wire in vtec, iabs, and knock sensor. oh yeah its a 99 gsr motor with an obd2 wiring harness into a 95 civic, running off a chipped obd1 p72.


I want to do a nice clean wiring job, and know i could just run the wires straight to the sensors, but i'd rather put it through the shock tower plugs.


i noticed this wire, the red/blue one in this picture. it is on the engine harness, and goes to a dead end on the chassis harness. i looked up the wire colors, and it seems like iab and knock sensors are BOTH red/blue. So my question is, which one is this?

also, just to verify, the blue/black and green/yellow wires on the left side of this pic are for vtec pressure, and vtec solenoid, respectively, correct?

they go to blank spots on the chassis harness as well, so i'd like to pull out the blanking plugs, and wire the vtec through there. does anyone know how easy it is to pull these things out and put new ones in? any info on it would be great.

one last issue: the plug in the last picture with 3 wires, is left hanging. nothing is plugged into it. i think that the blue/red and white/red wires are for the CKF sensor, and the red/yellow is for the evap purge solenoid. am i correct? thanks for the help everyone!
